Shannon is dedicated to sharing her knowledge with voice students. She is an enthusiastic singing teacher who aims to get the best out of her students whilst ensuring they enjoy the lessons and have fun.
Each lesson is tailored to the student's vocal needs and ambitions. Shannon’s teaching style is primarily based around Speech Level Singing (SLS) but she is also familiar with other techniques such as Estill. While she specialises in contemporary music - including pop, rock, and soul - her knowledge extends to musical theatre singing as well. In addition to the focus on technique and performance, Shannon’s lessons cover basic music theory and sight-singing, to hone the student’s all-round skills as musicians. She also provides students with the opportunity to enter graded Rockschool singing exams, should they wish to do so. Her students have achieved a 100% pass rate.
Shannon offers in-person lessons from her teaching space in Woking, Surrey. Alternatively, she also offers online lessons via Zoom. Shannon holds a current DBS check and Public Liability Insurance cover. In addition, singing lesson vouchers are available for Christmas and Birthday presents.
