10 years ago this week I finished my degree in voc

10 years ago this week I finished my degree in vocal performance at ACM in Guildford and moved in with my boyfriend to our first home #nowhusband.
Firstly - how did I finish a degree a decade ago!!!! I teach students younger then that…. 👵
Secondly - I had no idea what I would be doing in 10 years time. My sole aim was to learn to drive and make sure we kept our heads above water.

I count myself very lucky to be able to sing for a living, sometimes it’s hard, I don’t enjoy it, I need breaks, but ultimately my job is jumping and singing around a stage on a Saturday night for different clients across the country with the most incredible musicians. I get to teach and work with all types of vocalists and artists, and I get to be creative and arrange vocal parts for my little secondary school choir. It’s pretty cool.

Let’s see what the next 10 years bring.
